1–87 INTERCHANGE 17 RAMP CLOSURES EVENING FRIDAY OCTOBER 29 – DAWN MONDAY NOVEMBER 1
As part of our effort to upgrade the configuration of 1–87 Interchange 17 (US 9, Moreau State Park/South Glens Falls), the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) plans to CLOSE the ramps from southbound 1–87 to southbound US 9 and from southbound US 9 to
southbound 1–87 from 7 PM Friday, October 29 until 6 AM Monday, November 1.
During the closure period, traffic ordinarily using these ramps will be directed to the signed detour
routes traced in green (1–87 to US 9) and blue (US 9 to 1-87) on the map below.

Please take notice that the Village of South Glens Falls, NY, shall hold a Public Hearing, as required by Municipal Code § 21-1, on November 3, 2021, at 6:55 pm. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear public comment on the draft of proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2021 which proposes to opt the Village of South Glens Falls, NY out of on-site cannabis consumption establishments within its boundaries. A copy of said proposed Local Law is posted at the Village Offices located at 46 Saratoga Avenue, South Glens Falls, NY 12803, and on-line at the Village’s website: www.sgfny.com.
