Leaky toilets and faucets cause unnecessary waste of your water. Please help us eliminate extra pumping costs.
The Town of Moreau has a composting area at the Town Landfill (798-8126). It is located at the corner of Route 9 and Butler Road. Grass, leaves, and pine needles can be deposited there anytime during hours they are open.
STORM WATER MANAGEMENT: The Village asks everyone to help curb unnecessary and harmful liquids and materials, such as fertilizers, pesticides, soaps, and sands, from being washed into the streets and into the storm sewers, as they end up in the river. These conditions cause problems with the river itself, the fish, and other wildlife. Anyone wishing to become involved in our Storm water Management Water Program should call 792-4033 and ask for Brian. Storm Water Conservation should be everyone’s concern.
